Mementos of Orange Street: No. 4

$165.00

Behind the Art

Every painting carries the energy of where it was born. Mementos of Orange Street is a limited series of miniature floating works hand-crafted from past original paintings created in my California studio.

No. 4 takes a sculptural approach to the series—interweaving hand-cut strips of deep indigo, cobalt, and ocean-blue canvas into an open, textured grid. The exposed ends extend outward to reveal the physical structure of the weave, creating strong geometric shadows against the crisp white backing. It is signed with my subtle monogram in the lower right corner.

Specifications

  • Medium:Hand-woven reclaimed mixed-media canvas (acrylic, watercolor, and heavy oil stick)

  • Frame: 8" x 8" Light natural oak wood with a deep shadowbox profile and protective glass front(removed in photos to prevent glare)

  • Display: Arrives ready to hang, or stands beautifully on a desk, shelf, or mantle

Additional Details

Because this piece is hand-woven from reclaimed canvas with exposed, raw edges, it acts as a three-dimensional architectural study. The interwoven shades of blue catch and drop shadows differently as natural light shifts throughout the day, making it an unrepeatable, living memento of the Orange Street studio chapter.

Collector's Package To celebrate its unique history, your artwork arrives with:

  • A registered Certificate of Authenticity detailing its origin in the Orange Street studio.

  • A personalized, hand-written note from the artist.
